Delverium Wiki Privacy Policy
How Delverium Wiki handles data: Google Analytics usage, cookies, third-party links, and your choices. Plain language, no data selling, ever.
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains what data Delverium Wiki (https://www.delverium.lol) collects, why, and the choices you have. We are an unofficial fan-made guide site; we collect the minimum needed to understand traffic and keep the site working.
What we collect
- Analytics data via Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to measure aggregate traffic — page views, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, referring site, and on-page behavior like scroll depth. Analytics cookies may assign an anonymous client identifier.
- Local preferences. Your theme choice (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
- No accounts, no forms. The site has no user registration and does not knowingly collect names, emails, or addresses.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not run advertising networks on the site at this time.
- We do not combine analytics data with offline data.
Third-party services
- Google Analytics — Google processes analytics data under Google's Privacy Policy.
- External links — we link to Steam, YouTube, Discord, and X. Those sites have their own privacy practices once you leave ours.
Cookies
Analytics may set cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works fully without them. To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, use Google's official opt-out browser add-on.
Children's privacy
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Analytics details
Google Analytics is configured with the standard gtag.js snippet. In practice this means:
- Page-level events (views, scrolls, outbound clicks) are recorded anonymously.
- IP addresses may be truncated/used by Google per its own policies; we do not attempt to re-identify individuals.
- Aggregated data is used only to answer questions like "which guides are most read" and "which countries visit".
If you use an ad blocker or browser tracking protection, analytics is typically blocked automatically — the site does not require analytics to function.
Data retention
Analytics aggregates are retained in Google Analytics for as long as the property's default retention setting applies. We do not export or store personal identifiers from analytics anywhere else.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example the EU/EEA under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete data collected about you. Because we hold no identity-level data, the practical route is the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and clearing cookies; for anything else, contact us and we will assist within our technical ability.
Content licensing note
Site text and original graphics are the property of the site (see Terms of Service). Game-related trademarks and referenced assets belong to Sagestone Games and are used here editorially, in a fan context.
Changes
If we add advertising or account systems, this policy will be updated and the date below will change.
