Delverium Best Weapons (Early Access)
No verified Delverium weapon rankings exist before Early Access. What we know about weapons, how we will test rankings at launch, and how to spot fake lists.
Last updated:
There is no verified "best weapons" ranking for Delverium yet — and any site claiming one before Early Access launches on September 22, 2026 is making it up. The game is one week from launch as of this page's update; nobody has lab-tested the live arsenal. Here is what we actually know about weapons, and exactly how our ranking will be built.
What we know about weapons today
From official material and the demo:
- Weapons are one of the five crafting families — you make them, you do not loot them from a gacha (see crafting recipes).
- Melee and ranged styles both exist. Community play divides into frontline melee and support ranged roles (see builds).
- Combat is real and dangerous. The official trailer shows melee fights against goblin-type enemies, and the demo adds a world boss designed for groups.
- Progression is gear-driven — a classless sandbox where crafted quality is your power curve.
What nobody can tell you yet: damage numbers, best-in-slot items, or weapon tier placement. Those require the live game.
Our ranking method (published in advance)
When Early Access opens, this page becomes a measured ranking, not vibes:
- Controlled baseline — same enemy type, same conditions, record damage per hit and per second for every craftable weapon.
- Cost accounting — materials and crafting steps per weapon; a strong weapon with an absurd cost is not "best".
- Role testing — melee weapons tested frontline in dungeons; ranged tested with the support role.
- Solo and 8-player splits — weapons behave differently when you are the only target.
- Patch re-checks — every EA content update can shift balance; rankings get re-dated.
How to spot a fake tier list before then
- Named weapon tiers with exact stats before launch — nobody has the live data.
- "Best weapon" claims that never mention a test method.
- Numbers copied from Terraria, Core Keeper, or other games — Delverium is its own system.
- Tier lists with no update date or version label.
Community wikis currently describing the weapon families are useful for what exists; their numbers are provisional until someone tests the live build.
Where weapons fit in your early game
While the ranking is pending, the sensible beginner approach stands:
- Craft one workable weapon of your preferred role early — do not over-invest in tiers you will outgrow.
- Armor one tier behind your weapon (see crafting).
- Save deep material farming for the weapon tier you intend to keep.
